DIFFERENT LANGUAGES OF THE CONSCIOUS AND SUBSONSCIOUS

If we look back to the woman and the spider nightmare. The subconscious mind was communicating through the pictures, feelings, and emotions. The spider and its size represented not only what she feared, but also the size of that fear. It didn't speak and say you have a fear of spiders, because speech is the language of the conscious mind, it used its language of pictures, feelings and emotions.

This brings us to a very important point. The different language of the conscious and subconscious mind aspects. As they speak different languages there must be a translator, or the mind would not function. The speech that we speak to ourselves and others is converted into pictures, feelings and emotions that the subconscious can understand, by the translating aspect of mind.

Writing and speech are symbolic of what is actually meant and it is up to the person reading or listening to interpret its meaning. This is why so many different interpretations are place don the written word, each word has a broad symbolic meaning.

It is not as nearly as accurate as the picture, feeling and emotional language of the subconscious and is open to gross misinterpretation. The aspect of the mind that translates speech and the written word has a difficult job, as with any translated information it can be distorted or lost.
