Now imagine the sound
of your breathing is the sound of a wave. As you breath in
you imagine a wave coming up the beach and then there is a
short still period when the wave is stationary. It does not
go any further up the beach or down, just like your breath.
Now imagine as you breath out the wave is going back into
the ocean.
You can add power
to this technique by also imagining that as you breath in,
you are taking in enormous amounts of good healthy positive
energy and as you breath out you are releasing any tension
or negative emotions that you might have, allowing them to
flow with that wave back into the ocean.
If you practice this
technique regularly it will do wonders for your health and
happiness. Try to take the relaxed feelings you have while
doing this exercise into every aspect of your day. Stop every
now and then during the day and say to yourself "I am
going to relax now as much as I can." Do this no matter
what's happening or what you are doing in life. If you do
these things you will become very skilled in relaxation, you
will also gain tremendous conscious control over thoughts,
emotions and energy!
You can then maximize
your personal resources and focus them into a much more fulfilling,
enjoyable and happy life.
